Your choice of music from the ceremony and reception will be compiled to delight your family and friends. You provide the photograph and select your music compilation... we do the rest! Most brides are looking for something different and unique for their wedding day. Here at D.J. Debonaire we offer a variety of themes to choose from. The following theme weddings are available to the bride and groom at reasonable rates:
The Bride, your ushers, groomsmen, and all guests on active duty wear proper dress uniforms and accessories. Any civilian members of the wedding party wear formal dress clothing and accessories appropriate for your style of wedding. Military decorations replace boutonnieres on uniforms. If your fiancée is in the military, she can also wear her uniform. However, most women opt for the traditional wedding gown. This epitomizes the traditional military wedding. After the ceremony, the ushers either precede you and your bride do Sabers the aisle in the recessional, or leave by a side entrance. Outside the church, officers in military dress form an arch with their swords or sabers (Army) with the cutting edge facing up. You and your bride pause under the arch, kiss, then walk through It's traditional for the two end guards to use their sabers or swords to tap the bride and groom on their backsides as a sign of good luck.
For your table decoration: Consider pumpkin candles or napkins picked up in the fall, used in the wedding. If you do not wish to use orange pumpkins you can get clear glass pumpkins or white ceramic ones for decoration. Consider using the favors on the tables. Like the candy mice with a plastic carriage. Start now looking for glass (clear plastic) shoes for your footwear. The buffet table could have a glass slipper ice sculpture. We will play the Cinderella sound track during the reception. Also the song from Beauty and the Beast as well as the "When you wish apon a star" would be good choices
There are some really lovely cowboy ballads and love songs, too. You might look for some recordings you could use for background music or for other musical needs. What's appropriate and appealing will really will depend on the mood you are looking for in any case. The music from the soundtrack from the Australian movie, The Man From Snowy River, for example, is particularly lovely, and although not exactly western, it is evocative of that sort of mood and atmosphere. For flowers, you might consider using the "wildflower" style floral arrangements, so they look like they were "just picked off the prairie".
The symbols of Valentine's Day are hearts, roses, white doves and plump little cupids with their bows and arrows! Here are some ideas to 'pick and mix'. Add your own personal ideas and style to create the most romantic of weddings.
One particular strand of beads that you will not want to miss is our Blinking Mask Mardi Gras Beads - check them out - they really blink! Here are some decorating ideas to use your beads - instead of just wearing them around your neck: Use them like confetti and scatter them across your tables Drape them over lamp shades, picture frames, mirrors, and fireplace mantels You can string them like garland and wrap them up your stairway railing Hang them from the handles of your kitchen cabinets Fill bowls and vases full of colorful toss beads to add a brilliantly colorful accent to your party site Masks Everyone attending a Mardi Gras party should definitely have a mask! Be sure to have them on hand to pass out to your guests when they arrive. Masks are an easy and affordable way to dress up your guests and get them in the spirit. The masks can incorporate feathers, beads, and sequins and are usually found in purple, green, and gold combinations. If you have some reluctant guests, have a few simple style masks available so that all may participate in the fun. Again, masks are a great way to add some decorating flair to the whole party scene and not just the partygoers themselves! Here are a few simple ideas: Adorn the front door with an assortment of masks hung at various heights and angles. Create a simple centerpiece by placing masks on sticks and putting them in a vase of water colored with food coloring in purple, green or gold. Fill the vase with metallic coins to add more sparkle and pizzazz. Tape masks to each kitchen cupboard to add snap to this very popular room in your house!
Medieval weddings also have the added advantage of being an unusual event with all the excitement of a costumed ball. Many modern wedding customs are holdovers from medieval and ancient times. Tossing the bride's garter is from the belief that a piece of the bridle attire was a lucky token. Medieval brides started wearing many ribbons to keep their clothing from being shredded by over zealous luck seekers. The bride's hair was often worn loose and uncovered or held down with a golden circlet. A married women's hair was almost always covered. A reception with food and drink followed weddings then as now, with the drink of choice being honey mead. The new couple would drink honey mead for a month after the wedding, leading to the modern "honeymoon".

hear a word the bride or groom were saying? We all attended the wedding
for that sole purpose, but the attention to the detail has always been
missing. D.J. Debonaire will provide a separate system for the ceremony
and the main unit is setup in the reception ballroom. We use the latest
technology lapel microphones to hear the officiate, groom and use a handheld
mic for any solos, scriptural readings, or poems.

guest a wedding party favor that will help them remember your special

Traditionally,
the guest invited to the engagement party should be invited to the wedding.
With
today's rising cost of paying for an elaborate reception, one my save
some dollars by hosting an engagement party prior to their wedding date.
D.J. Debonaire can assist with the entertainment for such an event. Normally,
three to four hours is sufficient for this event.
Anniversaries
are among the most 'special' of all the events. They mark points in time
that cause us to reflect on the joy of friends, families, loved ones,
and the commitment to marriage. D.J. Debonaire will be honored to be able
to share in these events with you. Through our music and entertainment
services, we will create a memory for you to cherish for the rest of your
lives.
Wedding
in Africa - ancient and current - center on the combining of two families.
Africans view weddings as a union of two families, not just two individuals.
The creation of a new house is significant to their wedding rituals. The
ceremony itself can be very simple or quite lavish. Afrocentric traditions
can add a special touch to your reception. Kente cloths, which are woven
with traditional African colors of red, green, and black, offer an abundance
of decorating options.
If
you or your fiancée are officers in the United States Military (regular
or reserve) there are options that can enhance the style of your wedding.
(Although an enlisted man or woman can marry in uniform, the remainder
of the celebration would follow civilian traditions). Begin by talking
to your commanding officer about local protocol and traditions. 
The
Black & White Checkered concept is wonderfully prepared decoration,
with black and white alternating chair covers at each table. The table
cloths are also alternating black and white through-out the room. The
dance floor is a black & white checkered floor design. Of course the
bride and groom are in black and white attire including the wedding party
attendants. Additional pieces are included... call for additional details.
The
decoration can be prepared by our decorating team. Your thrones, or sweetheart
table could be within a pumpkin coach, glass slipper, magic wands, and
of course, red carpet will be provided. Your transport; check into the
rental of a horse drawn carriage in your area. (White horses) Clothing:
A tiara and a huge ball gown is a must for any Cinderella. 
If
you're interested in the West, you and/or your fiancé likely have some
favorite movies of your own already. You might also look at your local
library for books with cowboy poetry, quotes from western personalities
like Will Rogers, and western romance novels. Some of these might or might
not be obviously western in their contents, but anyone paying attention
to the details will notice the source. I'm a big fan of western culture
(as you might have guessed) and one of my favorite "western" romantic
quotes is: "Love of man for woman-- love of woman for man. That's the
nature, the meaning, the very best of life itself." Zane Grey-- Riders
of the Purple Sage I don't know how far you want to go with the theme
and flavor.

is the season of pure romance and what better theme for your wedding than
'love' The romantic mood of Valentine's Day arrives just as nature is
beginning to stir from its winter's sleep. The snowdrops are out and every
bird is singing to attract a mate. It is a time of hope and expectation;
a cheerful reminder that spring will soon be here with its promise of
warm sunny days ahead. It is a perfect time for a wedding. 
No
Mardi Gras party is complete without three basic necessities. Use these
everywhere and anywhere for a festive flair to your off-Bourbon Street
party. Remember - more is better when it comes to these three items! Beads
Regular, metallic, pearl, crown medallions, you name it - everyone should
be wearing beads. Have a variety on hand for extra fun.

and Renaissance Weddings are the "newest" old trend in weddings. Movies
like "Ever After" and "Elizabeth" are helping the resurgence in interest.
Medieval and Renaissance fairs are growing yearly and doing a booming
wedding business as well. Today's weddings have most people wearing clothes
they would not normally wear. Medieval weddings take this one step farther
to renting a costume instead of a tuxedo.

Of course all the music will be the legends of Motown. Decorated tables
with 60's memorabilia and artist centerpieces. CD party favors with song
from the event.
Whether
or not you get married on an actual beach, are a very popular wedding
theme. Variations of this theme can include Seaside, Sand and Sun, Sand
and Sea, Seashells, Dolphins, Hawaiian - anything related to the beach
or sea. Just alter any of our listed ideas to suit your variation.
Hang
an Oriental Corrugated Border on your walls and Round Paper Lanterns from
your ceilings and outside from trees if your reception will be held outdoors.
Hang a piece of red Curling Ribbon or Gossamer Streamer from the bottom
of the lantern for an extra Asian touch. Use Asian Gossamer to create
bows, swags, chair covers and drapes around your reception area. 
If
"amigo" and "fiesta" are words you want to hear at your wedding - this
one is a must! Mexico is more than the usual preconceptions though and
you can offer these treasures to your guests giving them a unique perspective
on this cultural rich country
