About Us! |
|
| A
Note From Our President |
Dear Future
and Past Client(s):
Thank
you for taking your time to visit our website. I have owned and operated
D.J. Debonaire since 1981, and I'm native of Los Angeles. We are a full
service Disc Jockey Company specializing in Weddings, Corporate Events,
Private and Holiday Parties.
My experience
includes, performing at over 9,000 weddings, not including corporate and
private functions. I'm currently a member of the 'Board of Directors'
for the Palmdale Chamber of Commerce and member of various other chambers
and organizations.
Our philosophy
is simple, our clients needs come first! We're always excited about performing
and look forward to it.
Through
the years I've talked with many people that have witnessed or heard about
an inexperienced or an non-professional disc jockey.
Keep-in-mind, the two most important vendors at your event is the 'Caterer'
and the 'Entertainment'. Why?, because they are the only two vendors your
guest will remember when they leave the room. Trust me, there is a lot
of people claiming to be professional disc jockeys... most of the inexperienced
are hobbyist and not full-time. Therefore, since they receive a paycheck
every two weeks, your event isn't their highest priority. For those of
us who own and operate full-time, your event will receive the attention
it deserves. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for, and cheap isn't
best. So buyer beware and please take your time and choose your entertainment
wisely.
I'm confident
that D.J. Debonaire Disc Jockey Service can provide you with best quality
professional entertainment that you're looking for. I welcome you to visit
our 'Testimonial
Page' and review what our past clients had to say. So call on us today
for availability.
Take care,

Richard
Poston, M.A.

What You Should Know About D.J. Pricing
|
|
| How
Important Is Your Event Really? |
In post-event
surveys, clients stated that the contribution provided by the Disc Jockey
made towards the overall success of their special event was 110%! Whether
it was a Wedding Reception, Corporate Event, or Private Party, its success
or failure depends upon the quality of services you receive from your
Disc Jockey. They're entertainment driven events.
Even though food, photos, and decor are important, these items pale in
comparison to the overall success of your event! The D.J. entertainer
is the difference between a great event or, just another social gathering.
Within the
L.A. County area, the average per person cost for a vegetable platter
is $7.50 per person. Multiply that fee times an average event of 150 guest
and the summation is $1,125.00. Think about it, is the success of your
event worth more than a vegetable platter?
Why is there such a wide range in D.J.
Pricing?
1. They don't offer all the services a true professional
Disc Jockey will. This means,
using home or inferior stereo equipment, a limited music library, no back-up
equipment, little to no advance planning... which lead to major problems
at your Wedding Reception, Corporate Event, or Private Party.
2.
Most "D.J.'s" have absolutely no training. They figure
if they can play a CD... then they can run probably one of the largest
parties or special events. Which could be one of the most important days
of your life, maybe at YOUR WEDDING!
3. The D.J. industry is full of people looking
to make an extra buck. The real focus is on their real job
during the week. If they mess up your event, neglect to show up, or give
a very average performance. As a result, they have absolutely nothing
to lose, they will still get their real paycheck every two weeks.
